Selena Gomez is taking a serious look at her life.

On Saturday night, after the 24-year-old kicked off her international Revival Tour at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition arena, she penned an emotionally reflective message to her fans, sharing that she felt "extremely unauthentic" and "unconnected" to herself and her music.

In the message, which Gomez shared on Instagram, the singer opened up about certain aspects of her life that have been filling her with uncertainty.

"...I act on a moment or fear something that hasn't happened. I'm stagnant, I stay still and don't just sit with myself first and ask 'is this where I am, wholeheartedly?'" she wrote. "I've always told the truth. I'm always true to my word, I've shown who I am but I need to rethink some areas of my life creatively and personally."

Though it is unclear what inspired Gomez, who had a birthday on Friday, to open up to her 91.5 million followers this way, she reassured fans that her audience in Indonesia was phenomenal.

Gomez captioned the Instagram post, "not being negative about anything I've done. I'm grateful for every single moment I get here - Indonesia you were LOUD and clearly inspiring. Love you so much."

Later on, the singer posted another photograph from her concert of her performing for the crowd, captioned, "Beautiful people 😍."
