For anyone wanting art on-demand without having to brave museum crowds, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has you covered.

Send Me SFMOMA, sends people works of art via text message. Anyone in the U.S. can send a text message to 572-51 with the request "Send me 'x,'" "x" meaning the keyword, color, or emoji of your choice.

In return, you'll receive an instant response with a photo from the museum's database that matches what you asked for.

San Francisco's MOMA created the project as a special way to put people in touch with its large art collection.

"To show the museum’s entire collection at once would require the construction of another 17 SFMOMAs and you would need to walk the equivalent of 121.3 miles to see each piece," SFMOMA said on its website.

This project allows people to access more pieces than is available to view in person.

Art enthusiasts online have already started to explore the instant service:

Per the museum's website, the SFMOMA has 34,678 works of art in its collection-- you might need a bigger data plan to gain access to all that art.
