Shailene Woodley shames people who watch TV while on Emmys TV awards show
Shailene Woodley has an important PSA for everyone watching the Emmys tonight: she's smarter than you.
The actress revealed her disdain for people who watch television while on the red carpet for television's greatest awards show, the Emmys.
Irony isn't dead, it's just become more annoying.
"Friends who watch TV, I always ask them -- when do they have time to? When do people have time to?" Woodley asked. "I'm a reader, so I always read a book instead of check out my TV."
All across the nation, 15-year-old lit mag editors nodded their heads in agreement.
I remember when people used to mock others for watching cable even though they spent all of their time watching Netflix, retweeting dumb GIFS on Twitter and writing Tumblr manifestos -- which is like watching TV, but dumber.
Twitter then shamed the shamer.
Shout out to all the TV watchers who've been stigmatized their whole lives -- you're not alone.
