It's not every day you get to see the feet of legendary NBA players—and it turns out, that's for a really good reason.

To the chagrin of the NBA on TNT crew, Shaquille O'Neal was compelled to put his foot front and center during his stint behind the desk this week, and the result of almost 20 years in the league is some, uh, unique toes.

It's safe to say no one appreciated the spotlight being on Shaq's feet—including his son. "Whoever saw my dad's toes on TV, I'm sorry," Shareef O'Neal wrote on Twitter. "Just think about it ... I've been seeing his toes for 17 years ... I've been scarred," he added.

Shaq explained he had his toenail taken off awhile ago, but the reason for (some of) the horror didn't lessen the impact. Everyone who happened to catch the clip added their traumatizing reactions to Twitter. The best, as usual, came in GIF form.

This isn't the first time Shaq's showed off his feet on social media, but honestly, we hope it's his last.
