Confused snake gets caught in a loop while trying to shed its skin

Alice Springs Reptile Centre in Australia shared a video of a Stimson's Python in the middle of sloughing its skin. Unfortunately, this one took a wrong turn somewhere.

The center commented on Facebook, "it looks like a steering wheel." The unusual shed is quite rare for a Stimson's Python.
The snake was able to find its way out of its predicament. It took about three hours to finally break free, according to the center.
