The cast of Sherlock: The Abdominal Bride might have won an Emmy for Outstanding TV movie on Sunday night, but there's no time for relaxing because sleuthing never ends.

After the crew accepted their award and spoke to press, actress Amanda Abbington who stars in the film as , returned to her seat only to discover someone had stolen her purse.

*cue Sherlock theme music*

The actress thanked everyone for their congratulatory tweets and went on to explain that her purse, which held her phone and driver's license, had disappeared. She even hung around after the ceremony to see if it would turn up.

"Whoever took my purse, I hope some terrible Karmic shit happens to you," she tweeted.

She ended up having a positive outlook about her experience.

Still, let the detective work begin.
