One of Rihanna's backup dancers is missing

Shirlene Quigley's danced right alongside music royalty like Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Beyoncé and more—and now some of those same artists are rallying support on social media to locate the missing backup dancer.

According to reports, the 32-year-old New Jersey native was last seen at 1 a.m. on Sunday at Port Authority, a transportation hub near Times Square in New York City.

"This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!," Rihanna wrote on Instagram video of Quigley sharing and inspirational message.

"My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!" Rihanna said, instructing fans with information or knowledge of her whereabouts to contact the North Bergen Police Department.

Missy Elliott posted a similar message, imploring the dance community for help spreading the word.

"Those who have met her know her spirit is always bubbly and kind & uplifting energy," Elliott wrote.

WPIX reports that Quigley is "described as five feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds with black curly hair and brown eyes," and was last seen wearing a pink top with jeans and heels.
