Showry is a South Korean shock comedian and online video star who you might have seen making out with a fish while scrolling through your Facebook feed.

While she does more traditional comedy on her YouTube show the Showry Show, it’s her food videos that have garnered the collective attention of the Internet.

Showry’s videos start fairly normal - a young woman flirting with the camera, maybe dancing. Things take a turn pretty quickly, as she starts to cover herself in eggs, popcorn, cheese and chocolate syrup. She’s even gone as far as to lick raw chicken to shock viewers.

These videos are a spoof on the South Korean video trend known as mukbang, or eating broadcasts, where people livestream themselves on the Internet eating large amounts of food.

While many of us laugh at, or are shocked by her videos, Showry utilizes her platform to subvert the overly-sexualized stereotype of Asian women by taking people’s perceptions and covering it with french fries and ketchup.

But more importantly, Showry’s videos are just fun to watch. After all, who doesn’t want to play with their food?
