Deleted Season 2 scene shows 'Silicon Valley' crew failing to celebrate
Silicon Valley, TV's smartest and most stressful tech comedy, comes back soon. But before HBO takes us back to Northern California, why not revisit Season 2?
In honor of the complete second season's DVD release, Mashable has an exclusive deleted scene of the Pied Piper team being its hilarious and pathetic best.

After winning the lawsuit set upon them by Hooli, the crew goes to a bar to celebrate. But since it’s 10:15 P.M. in Silicon Valley, there’s barely an audience for the victorious young moguls. (“No one's ever out this late here; it’s like dawn in an actual city,” quips Dinesh.)
As usual, Richard is concerned, this time over whether Pied Piper’s valuation is too high. Also per usual, Erlich dismisses this notion, declaring that the five of them are heroes, legends and “goddamned monuments,” and that they should focus on celebrating.
Erlich leads the team to a frozen yogurt place instead (“Get a lot of toppings so people know that we’re doing well”), leaving Richard to brood in solitude. But instead of going to bed as promised, Richard makes a phone call -- because there can never be peace for Pied Piper.
Silicon Valley: The Complete Second Season releases on April 19.
