There's a wild story behind this almond-centric website

Back in the mid-90s, you probably weren't too concerned about the internet. That new-fangled computing machine in the corner would surely be out of style soon, right? It was just a matter of time.

Obviously that's not how things worked out, and a keen businessman named Gary Almond must've known that the world was about to change. In 1995, he had the foresight to purchase a domain that would be more in-demand than even he could imagine – almond.com.

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, friends.

Silk, maker of Silk Almondmilk, was, of course, thrown for a loop when they discovered that the domain name was spoken for. So Silk decided to take matters into their own hands.
