LONDON -- In one of the largest pro-choice demonstrations that Ireland has ever seen, thousands gathered in Dublin on a rainy Saturday afternoon to take part in a march calling for the repeal of the Eighth Amendment, which places a constitutional ban on abortion.

Witty rallying calls could be heard coming from the crowd: "Not the church, not the state, women must decide their fate”, and “Get your rosaries off my ovaries". However, their chants could not completely drown out the jeers of one nearby pub-goer.

That is, until a gentleman with particularly potent pipes lent his voice to the cause.

Filmmaker and pro-choice demonstrator Kate Dolan captured the exchange in a video that you can watch below:

Appearing without introduction, the unidentified and unabashed singer bursts into song, interrupting an angry tirade from the naysayer to an eruption of cheers from the crowd.

The anti-choicer turns away sheepishly, clearly uncertain how to react. He can be heard admitting to bystanders, "he's good, he's good".
