LONDON -- Patrick Stewart's epic, booming voice is surely made for Shakespeare.

The British acting legend recited one of his favourite Shakespeare passages on Twitter Friday afternoon, marking the upcoming 400-year anniversary of the famous playwright's death.

"There's one that sticks in mind and I've always loved it, and it's a little dark, it's a little discouraging... but nevertheless it's from As You Like It and these lines are spoken by Rosalind, a character I've always felt I should play," Stewart says.

"And since my recent success in drag ,I'm hoping it may come about quite soon."

Stewart then launches into his passage, which he (of course) delivers flawlessly.
