'The Phillip DeFranco Show' wins show of the year at the Streamy Awards
BEVERLY HILLS -- Yousef Erakat -- aka FouseyTube -- won entertainer of the year and The Phillip DeFranco Show won show of the year at the sixth annual Streamy Awards on Tuesday.
Erakat, known for his prank videos, has amassed 9.6 million subscribers to his YouTube channel.
DeFranco's show, which has 4.7 million subscribers, is home to news and culture commentary.

"Thank you to the beautiful bastards that watch and subscribe," DeFranco said when accepting his award. "There's not a lot of places where people can talk about things that are home ... where we can have a conversation. Thank you for actually having a place like that. And finally, YouTube may be the place that I post videos but the people that watch me ... you are my home."
FouseyTube also thanked his fans, noting that it's been a year filled with both love from fans and backlash from haters.
"This year I became one of the most hated YouTubers on the platform that's maybe because I let RiceGum punch me on the face or maybe because I came out and said 99 percent of pranks on YouTube are fake," he said during his acceptance speech. "For a long time I looked at myself in the mirror and I based myself on what I saw in the comments. I felt worthless, I felt ugly, I felt gay. But I reminded myself the two most important words of my life that I have to use or myself whenever I was fighting my mental illness. Those two words are I am. Every day when I looked at myself in the mirror I reminded myself I am powerful, I am strong, I am confident, I am worthy and I am good enough to be on the stage tonight ... I love all of you guys, thank you so much."
Fans were allowed to vote up to 100 times per day on the web and 100 times per day on Twitter.
The voting period ended on Tuesday just before noon PT.
Last year, Cameron Dallas won entertainer of the year and FouseyTube won show of the year.
Nominees for entertainer of the year included: Dallas, Baby Ariel, Casey Neistat, The Dolan Twins, Kian Lawley, Lilly Singh, Liza Koshy, Roman Atwood and Sky Does Minecraft.
In the show of the year category, nominees included: Camp Unplug, Daily Bumps, The Game Theorists, Good Mythical Morning, McJuggerNuggets’ Psycho Series, Miranda Sings, Rooster Teeth, The Try Guys and The Young Turks.
This year's ceremony, hosted by Vine star King Bach, was held at the Beverly Hilton and livestreamed on YouTube.
