If blue -- and I mean Smurf blue -- pudding is your thing, you need to head over to Hong Kong for an array of desserts and snacks recreated by a group of restaurants in tribute to the little blue characters.

The Harbour City mall in Hong Kong is playing host to a Smurf art exhibition for a month, and has also turned one of its courtyards into a Smurf village with a 6 metre-tall mushroom house as its centrepiece.

Harbour City's restaurants are also participating in the Smurf madness, and have come up with some visually delightful tributes.

Inside the exhibition, Belgian Smurf creator Peyo's original artwork is being exhibited in public for the first time, said Harbour City.

Harbour City reached out to Lafig Belgium, which holds the rights to the franchise, to create the theme show.

The Smurfs comic first debuted in 1958, and has since expanded into a media franchise spanning film, TV series, video games and merchandise.

Harbour City's Smurf exhibition will run for just over a month until Aug. 21.
