We need to talk about Snake's butt in 'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'

We can do better than this.

The in-depth look at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during Nintendo's E3 showcase gave the world a hell of a lot to look forward to and at least one huge letdown: Snake's butt.

Snake, who made his Smash debut in 2008's Super Smash Bros. Brawl, is basically known for three things: being incredibly sneaky, killing bad people, and rocking a skin-tight suit that accentuates his beefy glutes. Sadly, Snake's butt doesn't get the representation it deserves in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Twitter user Iron Pineapple pointed out this injustice, comparing a picture of Snake's butt from 2004's Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes to his butt in Ultimate.

Here's a fuller look at Snake and his ass from his Ultimate introduction clip.

Look at that thing. You're telling me that this man's quads and hamstrings are that big but his ass is as flat as a pancake? It's not possible.

Snake's ass is a very important characteristic but for some reason Nintendo has toned down his perfectly toned posterior. For what? To not cause a distraction? Please.

We all know how important an ass is in third-person games. You're staring at it through the whole game so it needs to look good. The developers behind the Metal Gear Solid series clearly knew this when they sculpted the 3D model of Snake's butt.

Nintendo took all that hard work and flushed it down the drain. This is a disgrace.

Give us Snake's shapely ass back, you cowards.
