Bernie Sanders has endorsed his rival Hillary Clinton as the Democratic presidential nominee -- and the newly united pair have been featured in a Snapchat geofilter to mark the moment.

The MS-Paint style graphic is clearly aimed at (hopefully for Clinton) former Sanders supporters. But since the filter is only available to people at the event, and a significant portion of Snapchat users aren't old enough to vote, it's unclear what effect it's likely to have.

Sanders officially backed Clinton at an event Tuesday in New Hampshire and little cartoon figures of the pair holding hands in the air were definitely the most exciting part of the somewhat forced speech.

"Hillary Clinton will make an outstanding president and I am proud to stand with her here today," Sanders told the crowd as the youth -- who he once represented -- played with puppy filters.

Many of his progressive fans seemed less than impressed and headed to reddit to share their anger. At the same time, the Snapchat filter, which was paid for by Hillary for American PAC, was released into the wild.

Probably best to just stick to the real life campaign trail for now, guys. Snapchat is pure.
