You can add Snapchat to the list of apps that will help you stay up to date on what's going on at the Olympics.

Snapchat added a boatload of new Olympics-themed features, including new stickers, lenses and filters. The app will also host video content via its Live Stories and a new Discover channel.

If you want to follow the action in Rio, Snapchat's adding a temporary NBC Olympics channel to its Discover section. The channel's content -- video highlights and behind the scenes moments from events -- will be produced by NBC, who is partnering with BuzzFeed on the effort.

Snapchat is also curating Live Stories, highlighting the games in a handful of countries. The six regions that will have live stories are those where Snapchat has broadcast partnerships, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Latin America.

In addition to its Discover and Live Stories content, the app will also have special sports-themed lenses, geofilters, stickers and Bitmoji to mark the games.

The geofilters will be country-specific and available in 50 different countries. Each country will also have a medal count filter that will change as each respective country's team earns more medals.

The app will also have special animated selfie lenses for the occasion. Like the filters, the lenses will vary by country. Some may add your team's swim cap to your head, for example, or a flag animation to your face.
