In case you hadn't noticed, it's Halloween. And, Snapchat has gone and planted a spooky-ass Easter egg in its snap maps feature.

Go into the Snapchat app, open the camera and pinch to access your snap map. You'll notice that the map has turned black and orange for Halloween.

And, if you zoom out, you'll notice that map's seas and oceans have turned a rather creepy shade of flaming orange.

If you're unfamiliar with snap map's usual aesthetic, it looks very different to this temporary Halloween look. Snap map usually follows the traditional green and blue map colour scheme. When you zoom in, streets usually appear grey and white.

The map's colour scheme isn't the only Halloween change you'll see.

Your Actionmoji (which is what you see when your Bitmoji is in action) might take the form of a zombie, cauldron stirrer, or trick-or-treater on the map. You can edit your Bitmoji's outfit to make it wear a fancy Halloween costume.
