One of Michael Jordan's most iconic sneakers just got turned into a paintbrush

Sometimes all you need to create a great painting are the soles of your sneaker.

You can create art with many things, but if you want to be the most meta, make it out of the thing you're painting.

Artist gc911 decided to take Michael Jordan's classic Air Jordan 1, the original Jordan sneakers, and turn them into a paintbrush to create a portrait of the man himself.

The artist painted over the sole and sides of the sneaker using black and red ink, then used every part of the shoe to create the genuinely great portrait in this great timelapse video.

Sometimes the best paintbrushes are the ones laced on your feet.
