Four SNL actors stand behind podiums on the set of a fake gameshow.

SNL opened the latest episode of its 48th season with a fictional gameshow, "So You Think You Won't Snap", meant to test how close people can get to losing their minds after simply reading about current events. Mood.

"President Biden was 53 years old when he got his first home computer," read cast member Bowen Yang as the gameshow's enigmatic host. "Why are you doing this?" replied cast member and gameshow contestant Heidi Garner, before losing the stress test and guzzling down an entire glass of wine. Other maddening headlines include the Georgia Senate campaign of Herschel Walker, Chris Pratt's voice acting in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie, and the mere existence of Elon Musk.
