Kellyanne Conway as Pennywise is everything you’ve ever wanted from 'Saturday Night Live'

"You'll float too, Anderson."

Maybe you see it. The resemblance. Kellyanne Conway. Pennywise from IT. Kellywise the Dancing Clown.

The writers at Saturday Night Live sure did.

Tonight’s offering in the ongoing cinematic saga of Kellyanne vs. Anderson Cooper featured Alex Moffat’s Cooper (clad in a yellow raincoat, natch) finding a reason to peek down a storm drain -- while everyone and their brother shouted at home, “DON’T GO NEAR THE STORM DRAIN, COOP!

Hiding inside was the disturbingly clownish Conway, played expertly as always by Kate McKinnon.

“Put me on TV,” she demanded, promising delightfully insane ramblings about Puerto Rico, Elizabeth Warren, and Rex Tillerson eating sundaes with President Trump.

Kenan Thompson the cop warned Cooper to get away; Kellywise the Clown had sucked Rachel Maddow into her drain of madness just yesterday. But then Conway switched to McKinnon’s other stellar political persona, Hillary Clinton, and it was more than Cooper could resist.

Bye-bye Coopy.

Oh thank goodness. It was all a dream.

OR WAS IT????
