The solar eclipse is taking the United States by storm today, with millions of people across the country snapping nifty photos and stunning videos of the celestial event.

But with the path of the eclipse passing over so much of the U.S., it's gonna be a hard to catch it all, so we did the work for you by rounding up some of the best photos and videos of the day, sorted in order of when the eclipse was visible in each location.

Check out what the 2017 eclipse looked like across the U.S., below.

Oregon

The eclipse first began in Oregon

California

Though California was one of the states that didn't experience totality, plenty of people were out and about taking in the partial solar eclipse.

Utah

Like Oregon, photos and video of the eclipse in Utah were pretty spectacular. Just see for yourself.

Tennessee

People all over Tennessee dropped what they were doing to check out the solar eclipse. Our deputy science editor was even there to cover it.

Ohio

In Ohio, our assistant Real-Time News editor's dog even got in on the fun!

New York

New York, like California, didn't experience totality. But people were still out watching, and even got a little creative with how they viewed the phenomenon.

Washington, D.C.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump pretty much dominated eclipse coverage in Washington, D.C., with photos of them watching from the Truman Balcony. However, they weren't the only ones taking a peek.

The Carolinas

South Carolina is where the solar eclipse will end. People were sharing photos and videos of the sky in both North Carolina and South Carolina throughout the afternoon.
