When Time unveiled its person of the year, "The Silence Breakers," yesterday, it caused quite the stir. Much of that was because of one particular person on the front cover — Taylor Swift.

The superstar received some blowback from appearing on the magazine cover, even after she took the stand earlier this year to testify against a DJ who was later found guilty of groping her. Many felt as if she doesn't deserve to be standing next to the group of other women Time highlighted, claiming Swift doesn't openly speak about important issues unless she is directly affected.

However, yesterday Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner made it known that she has Taylor's back.

Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, then retweeted Time's cover, making her stance clear on why she stands with all The Silence Breakers.

After that, Twitter gave an outpouring of love for Turner.

It's important to stand together and support both women and men affected by sexual assaut, and Turner is a great example of someone who's doing it right.
