Sound guy leveled by Minnesota Vikings is a metaphor for 2016

2016 has been terrible, horrible, no-good and awful, but one poor Fox Sports audio guy gave his body so that we might have the ultimate metaphor for this horrendous year.

It all happened when Bernie Beaudry, a Fox Sports sound guy, tried to race past the Minnesota Vikings' tunnel during the pre-game introductions but mistimed his route, colliding with getting destroyed by player Linval Joseph (who weighs in at around 330 lbs)

That is 2016 coming at you fast, world.

Don't worry, he came out a bit beat up and with some broken glasses, but he was, overall, okay.

But Twitter users had plenty of other jokes on hand for Bernie's mishap.
