It was 20 years ago Friday that the Spice Girls zig-a-zig ahhhed their way into the world with the release of "Wannabe." To celebrate its release, we revisited Spice World, which, hey, wasn't released until 1997, but the film is Peak Spice Girls -- and as they'd say, that's the way it is.
And damn, do you remember just how how weird it is?
It's am empowering girl power party and a very, very meta statement on celebrity, sure, but the Bob Spiers-directed comedy is also packed with almost Airplane! levels of absurdity and really, truly terrible puns. This thing is full of WTF moments, but here are the 16 most puzzling ones that you may have forgotten about.
