Spotify takes an early weekend, has outage on Friday afternoon

It has been a long week, and we all deserve to take off a little early.

Spotify knows that feel. Its service went down in various part of the U.S. and Europe on Friday afternoon.

An outage indicator showed problems that began a little after 4:00 P.M. EST.
