In a rather short showcase at E3 Monday, Square Enix teased a handful of games — mostly ones that have already been announced — to get people excited about what's in store for the near future.

With new trailers for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest XI, and a promising new intellectual property from Platinum Games called Babylon's Fall, Square Enix brought a little bit of hype to fans, but not nearly as much as some other publishers did over the weekend.

Without further ado, here are the highlights from Square Enix's E3 showcase:

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Square Enix showed off a chunk of gameplay from the upcoming Tomb Raider game, showing Lara Croft pulling off a whole bunch of deadly and creative stealth assassinations.

Dragon Quest XI

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age got a new trailer and a release date: Sept. 4. We got a glimpse at the story in Dragon Quest XI and the kinds of battles and skirmishes we can expect from the latest entry in the storied series.

Babylon's Fall

A brand new game from Square Enix, Babylon's Fall takes place in the far future and perhaps mimics the fall of real-world Babylon in 500s BCE. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there.

Octopath Traveler

The world was given a longer look at Octopath Traveler, the beautiful, pixelated RPG coming to the Nintendo Switch on July 13. With a handful of playable characters, each with their own branching and interconnecting paths, Octopath Traveler looks like an intriguing and innovative way to enjoy an RPG story.

Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter: World

The world's of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are coming together under one roof this summer in what appears to be a collaboration that pits Final Fantasy characters against beasts from Monster Hunter.
