Rooftop infinity pool offers panoramic views of Dubai from 50 floors up
Visitors to Dubai will soon be able to view a panorama of the city in their swimsuits.
St. Regis, a Starwood Hotels property, has unveiled plans for The Palm Tower, which will boast an outdoor infinity pool with 360-degree views of the city on its 50th floor.
Slated to open in July of 2018, the pool will offer views of Palm Jumeirah, Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline from almost 700 feet above ground. It will be one of the world's highest pools, according to the hotel.

The building's first 18 floors will have 289 guest rooms and suites, while the upper floors will have 504 luxury apartments.
The 51st floor will have a restaurant with panoramic views, while the 52nd floor will have a public viewing deck.
The St. Regis Dubai opened in November of 2015 and the St. Regis Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club will open in March 2017.
Palm Jumeirah is a manmade archipelago off the coast of Dubai, home to a 1.1 million-square-foot park, loop running track and several iconic luxury properties like Atlantis, Jumeirah Residences and Waldorf Astoria.
