The Oscars' cutest moment happened when 'Star Wars' droids crashed the show

The 2016 Academy Awards were so un-diverse, even the Star Wars droids weren't invited. 

But C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8 still managed to crash the ceremony Sunday night -- luckily, C-3PO resembles the Oscar statuette. And while on stage they also gave a lovely shout out to Star Wars' music composer John Williams.

And, of course, the adorable Jacob Tremblay from Room had the best reaction, because he is the biggest fan in this galaxy and those far, far away.
