You can dress like a droid, you can walk like a droid, and now you can even talk like a droid.

A new helmet by Minimum Effective Dose allows people to hold a conversation in fluent Droid, the language spoken by the likes of R2-D2 and BB-8. It isn't exactly the easiest tongue to pick up (perhaps because it's fictional?), but this new helmet "translates" the sounds you hear and the words you speak into the made-up language.

To be fair, there's no real translation to be done because 'droid' isn't a real language. However, the helmet effectively parrots the droid sounds from the movie. You, and your most trusted friend, can now have a full conversation entirely in droid.

The helmet actually works best when there's another person involved. People without a helmet won't hear droid noises coming out of your mouth -- they'll just hear quiet whistling. But people with helmets should be able to hear your big beautiful droid voice, ringing loud and clear.

Minimum Effective Dose has provided instructions for you to make your very own "Droid helmet."
