Looking for a partner to cuddle up to while you start your Star Wars movie marathon to celebrate the unofficial Star Wars holiday known as May the 4th? Then the Force may just be with you.

According to dating site Plenty of Fish, which analyzed more than 13 million profiles, those who listed Star Wars as an interest on their profiles were 61 percent more likely to start a relationship than non-fans.

Plenty of Fish also compiled a list of the top 10 cities where Star Wars lovers are located. This should help you identify where you'll have the most luck loudly discussing which color of lightsaber is our favorite:

  1. Los Angeles

  2. San Antonio

  3. San Diego

  4. Las Vegas

  5. Orlando

  6. Houston

  7. Phoenix

  8. Jacksonville

  9. Colorado Springs

  10. Chicago

Of course, Plenty of Fish is just one of many dating sites; this result may not hold true for Star Wars fans on OK Cupid or Tinder, for example.

But on the other hand, it makes intuitive sense: Star Wars is an extremely popular and inclusive fandom. Two strangers can easily end up in a stirring conversation about what The Last Jedi trailer really means or whether Boba Fett is actually dead.

We'd love to see more analysis of whether other fandoms help people start relationships. Personally, I believe it was my in-depth analysis of the future of Westeros in Game of Thrones that really sealed the deal with my now fiancé.

Even some of the more obscure fandoms probably can claim their fair share of relationships, because what are the chances you'll ever find someone else who's also into this obscure thing you're also into?

But for now, the moral of the story is: Don't hide your love of Star Wars. Proclaim it.
