This Star Wars pregnancy announcement has a hilariously dark twist

Oh? Is that? I see...

There are pregnancy announcements and then there are pregnancy announcements.

We've seen hundreds of Star Wars-themed ones on Reddit, but this is something else. And it has quite a dark twist:

See it? Princess Leia Organa and General Han Solo are going to have a baby -- who is (coincidentally?) due December 2017, when Star Wars: The Last Jedi is to be released.

That baby, Ben Solo, will one day become one of the Knights of Ren (earning the cute moniker of "Jedi Killer" among the First Order ranks), and kill his dad!

That pic's hilariously dark side (lol) was definitely not lost on ZachBrr, the guy who posted it on Reddit, who incidentally is the future dad's brother:

(Dammit, if only he was the future mum's -- I'm looking at you, Luke Skywalker):

Though tbh there's still a joke to be made:

Also, it looks that the future parents are pretty good at this:

May the force be with you, and just a word of advice: be careful with the baby's training education!
