One of the all-time greatest N64 'Star Wars' games is on Steam now
Rogue Squadron, people.
The best Star Wars game ever released for Nintendo 64 (scientifically proven) is now available on Steam. Rogue Squadron drops would-be pilots into the seat of an X-Wing -- and A/V/Y-Wings -- as they take on Imperial scum in frantic dogfights.

It's less involved than the PC gaming classics X-Wing and TIE Fighter, but that just makes it more accessible. You get to fly through familiar Star Wars locations, blasting TIEs out of the sky. It's great.
The Steam version doesn't carry any hefty hardware requirements -- your years-old laptop can probably run it -- but it also seems to be in need of some optimization.
The top-rated "Helpful" Steam review as of launch day, Mar. 30, notes that while the game runs fine, there's only "partial" controller support. You're also not able to Alt-Tab back to the desktop or bring up the Steam overlay while the game is running.
It's also worth pointing out that the game has been available on GOG.com since 2015, and the comments there speak to some of the same issues. Steam's version clocks in at a considerably larger file size, however -- 168MB there versus 47.6MB on GOG.
Rogue Squadron 3D costs $9.99 on Steam and you can get it right now.
