'The Mandalorian' brings Zeb Orrelios from 'Star Wars Rebels' into live action
Last week, a familiar voice made a cameo on The Mandalorian. This week, we got a familiar voice and face.
In "Chapter 21: The Pirate," the action takes a bit of a break as we set our sights on a New Republic tavern on the planet Adelphi. Greef Karga sends a missive to Carson Teva asking for assistance with a space pirate siege on Nevarro. That's when an old friend enters the picture.

Zeb Orrelios, a former rebel and current New Republic pilot most famously associated with Star Wars Rebels, takes a seat at the bar. He has an exchange with Teva about the Nevarro situation and how difficult it is to get help from Coruscant before wishing Teva luck on his way out.

It's not a hugely substantial scene, but it is the live-action debut of a character who previously only lived in an animated series. He follows Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze as animated characters who took physical form in The Mandalorian. And yes, he was played by his original voice actor Steve Blum.
Sometimes it's just nice to catch up with an old friend.
