At long last, we'll finally be able to enjoy our favorite Starbucks beverages with some delicious almond milk.

Starting Sept. 6, thanks to My Starbucks Idea -- a crowdsourcing initiative that allows customer and barista suggestions -- almond milk will be available in Starbucks locations throughout the United States.

This popular request will provide customers with another non-dairy milk alternative in addition to Starbucks' soy milk and coconut milk.

In a statement, Yoke Wong, manager on Starbucks beverage R&D team, said, "We created our own almond milk recipe to complement our hot, iced and Frappuccino® blended beverages.”

According to Wong, “It was designed so that when steamed, it creates a rich foam for hot beverages and is delicious and creamy when served in cold beverages.”

Starbucks Almondmilk will be available in more than 4,600 stores, beginning in Pacific Northwest, Northern California, New York, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and rolling out nationwide by the end of September.
