Starbucks' new espresso-infused IPA will get you hopped up on caffeine
Coffee lovers and beer snobs no longer have to choose between their two obsessions when visiting Starbucks.
The coffee chain just launched a new coffee-infused beer called the Espresso Cloud IPA as part of its bar-like "Starbucks Evenings" menu, which is available at a limited number of locations across the country.
As a member of Starbucks' research and development team explains in an introductory video, a chilled shot of espresso is dropped into a glass of beer adorned with a coffee froth head. The foam is also laced with hints of orange and vanilla.
