A 'Simpsons' writer showed hitherto unseen lines cut from 'Steamed Hams'

Are the extra lines an improvement or overkill?

Simpsons writer Josh Weinstein gave us an insight into how the world's most unforgettable luncheon was born.

Weinstein tweeted a picture of the second draft of the script for the episode 22 Short Films about Springfield.

That's right, Chalmers was going to use what he learned at Skinners' house to impress the Union of Amateur Astrologers. Some thought the line hilarious, others prefer "Steamed Hams" just way it is.

Delightfully devilish.
