Steph Curry has hit more 3-pointers in two years than Jordan did in his entire career
Steph Curry is good at basketball. He's enjoying a surreal run of success. Everyone loves him. We know all these things.
But just when we thought we had a handle on Curry's basketball brilliance, here comes a stat to knock our socks off again.

As ESPN researcher extraordinaire Tom Haberstroh uncovered Wednesday morning, Curry has hit more three-pointers in the past two seasons than Michael Jordan did throughout his entire NBA career -- with 20 regular-season games still to go this year.

Curry hit an NBA-record 286 three-pointers last season, and is already at 301 this season. Every three-pointer he hits from here on out means a new record.
Jordan had 581 three-pointers out of 1,778 attempts in his 15-year career. Curry's 587 over the past two season have come on 1,299 attempts.
What does this mean? Depends what you want it to mean. Maybe it's proof that Curry is closer to the GOAT conversation than some want to admit. Maybe it simply illustrates how NBA play has changed in the past decade. Or maybe it's a bit of both.
Either way, though, Curry has hit more three-pointers in the past two season than Jordan did in his entire career -- and you now have some excellent new bar trivia to drop on your friends.
