Sorry, Steve Bannon, Jake Tapper isn't going to "shut up" because you told him to

One word says it all.

On Thursday, The New York Times released a predictably terrifying interview with Trump advisor Steve Bannon, who advised the media to "keep its mouth shut."

In response, most members of the media did exactly the opposite, opening their mouths wide in a struggle to take in oxygen. CNN's Jake Tapper might have had the best reaction to the interview: a knock-out viral blow, delivered in approximately 5 seconds.

"The media should be embarrassed and humiliated and keep its mouth shut and just listen for a while," Bannon told the Times.

Tapper took some time to compose an elegant, thoughtful response, which quickly became viral gold:

Yes.
