Everyone knows Steve Carell is funny, but some people are only just noticing something else about him: the guy is a total heartthrob.

Well, the man himself has now commented on the furore -- and his response is everything you'd expect it to be.

"I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes," Carell told ET. "It's just genetic, there's nothing I can do."
