Survey says you will be surprised by who volunteered to help Trump with 'the inner cities'
Donald Trump wants comedian and talk show host Steve Harvey to get into politics.
On Friday, Harvey met with Trump in Trump Tower to discuss the Family Feud host getting involved with Ben Carson's inner cities initiative. Carson, the GOP presidential candidate drop-out and surgeon with no government experience, is up for Trump's housing secretary.
Harvey posted a statement about the meeting on Twitter, calling it "congenial and sincere." He went on to explain that "Trump wants to help with the situations in the inner cities." According to Harvey, Trump put Carson on the phone so the two could talk about Housing and Urban Development programs and other housing issues.
According to the Associated Press, Harvey said he also talked to Trump about mutual friends, TV shows and golf.
Ultimately, Harvey felt positive about the meeting. "I feel that something really great could come out of this ... I would sit with him anytime," he added about Trump.

Once word of the Carson-Harvey match-up got out, everyone shared their two cents, including director Ava DuVernay.
Some applauded the decision to bring in Harvey, while others were less optimistic -- and ready with the jokes.

Either way, Harvey's involvement in the Trump administration comes only a week after he said racist remarks during his Steve Harvey show. He said white women wouldn't want to date Asian men and expressed other thoughts on inter-racial attraction.
