'Stranger Things' on a monochrome monitor is so perfectly '80s
Let's all thank the internet for Wahyu Ichwandardi, an illustrator and animator who thought it would be a good idea to recreate the Stranger Things intro on a monochrome monitor from the 1980s.
Spoiler alert: it was a good idea.

Ichwandardi built his green-and-black Netflix homage using an actual Apple IIc computer and Dazzle Draw, a bitmap paint program from 1984. Only the latest and most powerful technology to make this!
He documented his building process in a series of posts captured in a Twitter moment. It's all so gloriously lo-fi, and yet this was what personal computing looked like for most during the Stranger Things decade.
