The agonising wait is over at last.

At 12 a.m. PT on Thursday, Stranger Things Season 3 went live on Netflix.

The official Twitter account posted the following 15-second video, with the caption, "cue the fireworks."

That wasn't the only post marking the occasion. A number of the cast took to Instagram and Twitter when Season 3 dropped to share their own photos, videos and words of excitement.

Millie Bobby Brown opted for this brief but adorable message.

Finn Wolfhard, meanwhile, shared a clip of himself messing around with co-stars Gaten Matarazzo and Joe Keery -- ending in an impressively convincing fake punch.

"I've been waiting a year to post this video," wrote the actor.

Last but by no means least, David Harbour shared his excitement for one episode in particular.

"Cinema has its own language," he began. "Furry dragons, quests to overcome the nothing, magical books. Certain films get so scratched into our souls.

"Episode 8 of #strangerthings3 is my newest. The sounds, the colors, the heroism, the pathos, the humanity, the love. May it be so for you. It soars with laughter and tears. You’ll feel like a kid again (or a kid, STILL.)"

Right, now we're off to devour the entire season.

Please don't disturb us. It's said to be exhilarating.
