The town of Hawkins, Indiana will be explored in a whole new medium starting this fall: comic books.

A new line of comic book series based on Netflix's Stranger Things is kicking off in September through Dark Horse Comics, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday. The first series will focus on the character Will Byers and his harrowing time in the Upside Down during the first season.

This first Stranger Things comic miniseries will debut on Sept. 26 and run for four issues. There are no details yet about future series of Stranger Things comics, but the partnership with Dark Horse Comics will continue for multiple years, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This news comes hot on the tail of two recent Stranger Things announcements: Stranger Things books and a Stranger Things video game.

The first comic miniseries appears to just be titled Stranger Things according to the variant covers that Entertainment Weekly shared:

Here's a sneak peek at the comic itself, which shows Will trying to run away from one of the monsters from the show, known as the demogorgon.

While Will spends almost the entire first season of Stranger Things in the Upside Down, we never actually got to see him in there except in a few, short moments. The new miniseries offers a look into the Strangers Things that has been a mystery thus far.

The first miniseries is written by Jody Houser with illustrations by Stefano Martino, ink by Keith Champagne, color by Lauren Affe, and letters by Nate Piekos.
