Bask in the spooky glow of this 'Stranger Things' pumpkin carving
Netflix's Stranger Things might have ruled summer 2016, but October is its month to shine.
Kyle Lambert, the artist behind the show's '80s-inspired poster, shared this piece of Stranger Things Halloween inspiration, courtesy of Twitter user Brad Starr.

Starr's piece is a foam pumpkin carved with an thoroughly detailed rendering of Lambert's original poster.

"With Stranger Things being the best thing to come out of 2016 I started quickly on it back in August," Starr told Mashable via Twitter DM. "Over the course of a week it took about 13 hours total, using a hot knife with different tips to 'melt' and 'carve' the foam into the lightness and darkness needed."

Starr says each year he carves a different foam pumpkin, and though his work is often a hit among friends on Facebook, it's just a hobby. When Lambert reached out to Starr about his piece, Starr says he was thrilled.
"I nerded out," he said. "It was nice to be recognized by an artist."
