Poor guy strikes out in the most embarrassing way possible
Striking out always sucks. Striking out like Josh Fuentes, however, is just straight-up embarrassing.
Batting for the Hartford Yard Goats (yes, that's a real team) on Friday night against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (also real) in a minor league game, Fuentes watched the ball slip out of the pitcher's hand.
Then, for some reason, he swings—and is called out by the umpire.
Ouch. The way he slumps over at the end is all of us after doing something stupid.
Even worse, that was in the eighth inning, and it was a close game. The Rumble Ponies ended up winning the Double-A contest 5-4, so that was a pretty costly error.
Luckily, Fuentes had a sense of humor about the whole situation.

Don't worry Josh, we've all made mistakes. At least you're famous now.
