'Suicide Squad' soundtrack tops Billboard chart
As Suicide Squad holds the top spot at the box office -- for the rest of this week, at least -- its soundtrack is also sitting pretty at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to Billboard, last week the soundtrack sold 182,000 units -- which includes on-demand streaming and digital track sales -- and 128,000 of those were traditional album sales. The last soundtrack to top the Billboard 200 chart was Pitch Perfect 2 in May of last year.
It's not all that surprising, either: The Suicide Squad soundtrack boasts original music from a host of A-list artists including Skrillex, Rick Ross, Twenty One Pilots, Grimes and Kehlani.
