Bellyflopping gorilla interrupts NBA game and everyone acts like it's no big deal
The best part about this? All the players act like it's totally normal.
The Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards were in the fourth quarter of their Tuesday night NBA tilt when a guy in a gorilla suit bellyflopped onto the court and skidded a few feet along the hardwood before scampering back out of bounds. It makes for a fairly surreal and funny moment -- take a look.
Again, pay attention to the players on the court. They hardly bat an eye! That's the focus that gets you to the pros, people.
Who's the gorilla? That's the Suns mascot. (Now, why is the Phoenix Suns' mascot a gorilla? Good question! And one that's only partially answered here.)
Alright, next question. Why did the gorilla dive on the court? To retrieve a wayward drumstick, according to NBA reporter Gerald Bourguet.

Now that's how you prevent a potential injury. Not all heroes wear capes, as the saying goes.
Some, it turns out, wear gorilla suits.
