Jack Garratt wants you to overcome your fears.

His new music video for "Surprise Yourself," off his debut album Phase, follows people doing all the things they've always been afraid of -- skydiving, getting a tattoo, driving. The whole thing was shot on a GoPro.

It's all very inspiring -- and very appropriate for "Surprise Yourself," a song about letting go.

"I wrote 'Surprise Yourself' for a friend of mine who took the wrong train home once," Garratt tells Mashable. "I wanted them to have something uplifting to come home to.”

Though Garratt only just released his debut album in February, the British singer-songwriter and instrumentalist has already won a BRIT Award and topped the BBC's annual new music poll.
