Back in 2013, Murad Osmann and his girlfriend turned their love for travel into a photo journal that went viral and sparked the now famous #followmeto meme.

While documenting their travels around the world, Osmann decided against posting the traditional touristy shots, and instead shot a series of photos of his girlfriend leading him by the hand through breathtaking landmarks.

While most of the Internet instantly took to the romantic concept, many netizens couldn't resist the running gag #followmeto presents either.

Three years on, Taiwanese couple Forrest Lu and Agnes Chien, singlehandedly revived the #followmeto meme by re-creating Osmann's shots but with their own hilarious spin while vacationing in Hawaii.

In the photographs posted on a Facebook community, Lu is portrayed as a "whipped" husband being led around by his wife. But instead of holding his hand, Chien is seen dragging Lu around by the nostrils, hair and ear.
